Ok, so what do you think about this? It's kind of interesting. These scientists from the UK are claiming skinny models actually turn consumers off of products, and the companies are doing themselves a disservice by using tiny little people in their ads. This is the science:
Researchers have found that skinny models are actually a turn off to consumers in TV commercials and other advertising. They found that images of super-thin models carry no edge in encouraging young women to buy and for the majority of adult women ads showing skinny girls actually discouraged sales.
AND:
"So-called plus-size models, on the other hand, actually encouraged them to buy." "...when women aged between 18 and 25 saw the adverts they felt better - and more likely to buy - after viewing the images of the larger models."
Well, I'm not a girl, so I have no idea. And don't scientists have anything else to do? But what do you think:
Katie Price usually looks semi-lovely, but at her lingerie launch event yesterday she looks almost as trashy as the girl holding the surfboard in our header. I can't look at that girl anymore btw. Too many times a day. Her butt has appeared in my dreams, and that's not a good thing! That's my surfboard she's holding also. Bet ya didn't know that! But yeah, so anyways here's Katie debuting a thong and a bra, among other items, I guess.
How's that pose where it looks like she has to pee??
