Have you seen the new music video from Neon Trees and their track Animal? This time around the Utah pop rockers take over an art show. Where everyone happens to be an animal!
Hole has released their first new song in over a decade, and it was co-written by a guitar player who was two-years-old when the band originally formed. The new song, Skinny Little Bitch, is the first single off Hole's upcoming album Nobody's Daughter. The remodeled band has only one original member - Courtney Love, but their signature sound does seem to have changed. According to her Twitter, Love says she and new guitarist Micko Larkin - who is 23-years-old - are the primary songwriters of Skinny Little Bitch:
"LETS GET THIS STRAIGHT RIGHT NOW SKINNY LTTLE BITCH WAS WRITTEN BY LARKIN AND LOVE NOONE ELSE TOUCHED IT"

We had a chat with The Almost a little while back, when they stopped in San Francisco with The Used.
Tom Delonge is so damn serious it's impossible to not take him seriously. So when he says his band Angels & Airwaves is "going to have the best video we’ve ever had," with 'Hallucinations', then that's the way it is. Of course "best" is an objective state of mind.
Since the album Love was recorded on Delonge's ATM card, the band is taking a novel approach to everything involved, including the first music video. "We just go out and do it just like when we were skateboarding when we were teenagers. We’re laughing and sweating as we’re pushing cars, trying to make shit look cool."
"We went out and shot it with just the band members and two friends of ours with handheld cameras, no lighting at all. While three members are pushing a car in neutral, a guy is sitting in the back with his camera out the window, and I’m walking. It’s going to look like we had a giant production, but at the very end of the day we’ll probably spend just a few thousand bucks. It’s going to look like we spent 400 grand on this video. It boils down to, once again, if you have great people and just a few of the right tools, you do not need to spend any money."
"It’s so funny and so anti-rock star. It’s beautiful, absolutely beautiful."
The latest music video from Bay Area alternative rock artists AFI has been released. Beautiful Thieves features the band performing in a house owned by "a crazy woman with a bunch of horses," as guitarist Jade exclusively told us. Check out the video and then check out our convo with band right here.
In 1996 AFI rolled through Santa Cruz, California and played a $6 show for 100 people at the Vets hall. It was my first punk show and cost me six bucks. Fourteen years later I told Jade and Hunter that story as we sat in their bus five blocks down the road from the venue they played way back when. This time through Santa Cruz they have two platinum albums under their belt and another gold doesn't look far off.
We caught up with AFI in Santa Cruz, Calif., and talked to them about their new album (Crash Love), their new music video (Beautiful Thieves), Hunter's shoes and the duality of A Fire Inside. Check it out.
East Coast alternative rock band The Almost have released the brand new music video for Hands. A couple months ago we happened to speak withDusty, Jay and Alex about the video, which was shot on the same ever-lasting day as the video for Lonely Wheel. The guys told a little about the concept: "We want it to be basically an answer to the Lonely Wheel video, because the Lonely Wheel video brings up a lot of issues in a person's life."
On Valentines Day 2010 Angels & Airwaves will release their new album 'Love' as a present to all. But this last week the band fronted by Tom Delonge released the first single called 'Hallucinations'. And you can download that one from their website right now right here.
Jared, Shannon, and Tomo of Thirty Seconds To Mars have recorded an epic alternative rock album in 'This Is War'. This is the kinda album you secretly listen to in the back of the room to make it through math class, then get caught because you're waving your fist.
“It took two years, we went to hell and back. At one point, I thought it was going to be the death of us, but it became a transformative experience. It’s not so much an evolution as it is a revolution. It’s a coming of age.” - Jared
This Is War just debuted in the number two spot on the alternative album chart as well as the digital album chart. If you haven't picked one up yet we have a giveaway for you right now. First one to answer the following question gets the 12 song disk right now:
Q: Thirty Seconds To Mars Logo contains the latin phrase "Provehito in Altum". What is the English translation of the phrase?
Aaron Gillespie hops behind the drum kit once again for The Almost's cover of 'Little Drummer Boy'. The video features a dirty faced Converse wearing youngster with nothing to lose finding joy in his drum.
Give what ya got is the message:
"I am a poor boy too, pa rum pum pum pum. I have no gift to bring, pa rum pum pum pum That's fit to give the King, pa rum pum pum pum."
"I played my drum for him, pa rum pum pum pum. I played my best for him, pa rum pum pum pum."
